Her leadership focused on transformation, community partnerships, inclusive excellence, digital innovation, research, and equity in education. During her tenure, SJSU earned recognition as the #1 transformative university and received prestigious awards for operational excellence in digital transformation. Dr. Papazian is a scholar of Early Modern British Literature, holding degrees from UCLA, and is a certified ESG advisor, startup advisor, and renowned speaker on various topics, including leadership, the metaverse and the value of liberal arts in a digital economy.
